SMSGT Charles H. Farr

SMSGT Charles H. Farr, 91 of White Oak Lake, Chidester, Ark. passed away June 18, 2018. He was in the U. S. Navy from 1944-1948 and U.S. Air Force from 1949-1973. He served his country in World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Col. Charles "Dahl" and Beulah Farr also, Connie and Elsie Sweatman who raised him; four brothers, Harold, Johnny, Bob and Pete. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia Henry Farr; daughters, LeAnn Farr, Trina King (Charlie); grandchildren, Alex, John and Sara Reeder; a brother, Col. Warner D. Farr (Kathleen); a sister, Betty Mann, many friends; and family and his loyal dog, Minnie. Funeral services for Mr. Farr will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Bluff City Cemetery.
