Marilyn Vivian Roberts

Marilyn Vivian Fortenberry Roberts, 59 y/o, went to her Heavenly Home Saturday, June 23, 2018. She lived in Sumner, MS until she moved to Mabelvale, Ark. during her high school years. Marilyn was a loving mom, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was a graduate of Bryant High School and co-owner of Roberts Trash Service. Marilyn's talent as a beloved softball coach came naturally as she inspired many players to pursue their own talents in life. Her love for animals was very evident when you visited her home. Marilyn leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Morgan Dale Roberts of Mabelvale and three children, Michael Dale Roberts of Bauxite, Bradley Ray Roberts (April) of Bauxite and Amanda Marie Roberts Smith (Grant) of Bryant, her parents, Mike Dunn Fortenberry II and Mary McCrary Fortenberry of Mabelvale, sister, Marlene Fortenberry Pritchard (Timothy), brother, Mike Dunn Fortenberry III, sister, Melissa Gail Fortenberry Thornberry (Frederick), three grandchildren, Evan Chrissonberry, Cierra Hicks and Mikey Hicks and a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin Friday, June 29, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Bauxite, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
