Oma Brewer, 92, of Rogers passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Oma was born May 18, 1925 in Cabanal, Arkansas to the late George Washington Sisco and Mary Francis Wright Sisco. She was also preceded by two sisters, Ival Harveston and Opal Sweeten; three brothers, Carthy, AJ, and Dayton Sisco; two sons, Billy Guy Garris and Dewey Lee Garris and a grandchild, Jake Garris. Mrs. Brewer retired from Tyson. She loved being a rural homemaker… raising a garden, canning the produce, and cooking for her family. She also enjoying sewing for her family and quilting all while singing country, gospel and folk songs. For more than 58 years she was the loving wife of L.V. Brewer who survives. Oma is also survived by two daughters, Jannie Riley of Rogers and Mary Garris (Kenny) of Disney, Oklahoma; two sisters, Belle McCarter of Reed Springs, Missouri and Alta Madewell of Dry Fork; three brothers, Delbert Sisco of Berryville, Harold Sisco of Rogers, and Troy B. Sisco of Dry Fork; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Visitation will be Friday, March 2, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. and her Funeral service will be Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville with interment to follow in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery.
