Una Thompson Fort

Una Thompson Fort, age 96, of Cabot, Ark., (formerly of Warren, Ark.), died Wednesday, February 28, at Hospice Homecare in Little Rock, Ark. She was born November 3, 1921, in Hermitage, Ark., a daughter of the late L.Q. Thompson and Faye Childs Thompson. Una was a member and former treasurer of First United Methodist Church in Warren and the widow of Don Fort who died October 29, 1981. Also preceding her in death was a brother, William James "Sonny" Thompson and a sister, Ann Castleberry. Survivors are one daughter, Donna Fort Bailey of Cabot, Ark. One sister, Martha Thompson Sharp of McKinney, Texas. One grandson, Jim Bailey and spouse April of Cabot, Ark. Two great-grandchildren, Sydney Bailey and Cody Bailey. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Gary Harrison officiating. Burial is in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.
