Annie Lovette

Annie Mae Lovette, 95, of El Dorado passed on March 1, 2018. She was born March 8, 1922 in Bayou Meto, Arkansas to No trip Ticey and Hattie Green. She married James Lovette on April 6, 1979. In 1990, the couple relocated to El Dorado, Arkansas and united with St. John Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lovette; her parents, ten brothers, Natrip Ticey Jr., R.J. Ticey, Cleophus Ticey, Jimmy Lee Ticey, Johnny Ticey, Napoleon Ticey, Lester Ticey, Lenard Ticey, David Ticey, and Avan Ticey; two sisters, Gertrude Ticey Walker and Corine Ticey- Carrie. Annie is survived by one daughter, Earnestine Butler of El Dorado, Ark.; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, two sisters, Ella Paterson and Doris Scott of Los Angeles, CA; and a special cousin, Sallie Gordon. Public visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2018 from 12-5 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at St. John Baptist Church.
