Norma Jean Taylor

Norma Jean Taylor, 80 of Beebe, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, March 9, 2018 in the Unity Hospital of Searcy with her family by her side. Norma was born on February 10, 1938 in Bragg City, Missouri to the late Virgil and Alice (Foust) Coffman. On November 6, 1954 Norma was united in marriage to the love of her life; James Henry Taylor in Noblesville, Indiana. To this union two children were born. Norma worked in factories most of her life and was a member of The Christ Worship Center of Cabot. Mrs. Taylor was a wonderful, soft-spoken woman that loved every moment she got to spend with her family. She also enjoyed a good game of dominos or a difficult puzzle once in a while. In addition to her parents Virgil and Alice; Norma is preceded in death by five brothers, A.D., Linus, "Buddy" Thomas, Burley and Glen Coffman; and four sisters, Alene Garland, Victoria Lawson, Auvleta Futrell, and Thelma Fowler. Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, James Taylor of Beebe, Arkansas; one son, James "Jim" Taylor and wife Cindy of Cabot, Arkansas; one daughter, Penny Jo Doss and husband Darrel of Van Buren, Missouri; four grandchildren, Nathan Taylor of Cabot, Arkansas, Nick Dorris and wife Monica and Samantha Wilson and husband James "Bo", and Gabriel Doss all of Van Buren, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Kamdon, Grayson, MaKenna and L.J. all of Van Buren, Missouri; one sister, Masel Shepherd and husband Robert of Greenfield, Indiana; as well as many other relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 700 N. Second St., Cabot, AR (501-843-5816) with burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
