Irene Bolt, age 89, of Arkadelphia, went to meet her Lord on March 13, 2018, at the home of her son, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born July 25, 1928 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the daughter of Frank W. and Elizabeth Pitt Tatman. Irene "Peg" moved from Rock Springs, Wyoming to Arkansas in 1949, as the bride of William Clyde Bolt Jr. They lived and worked on the family farm and later owned and operated a "café" in Delight, Ark., where Glen Campbell frequently stopped by to "play music". Serving the Lord, her family, tended her flower garden, cooking and sewing were the important aspects of her personal life. She lived simply but was caring and generous towards others. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert and Frank Tatman Jr, and one grandson, Justin Kelly. Survivors are two sons, Jimmy Bolt (Cindy) and Christopher Bolt all of Arkadelphia; one daughter, Cheryl Kelly of Hot Springs; one brother, Charles Tatman (Mary) of Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren, Jeremy Bolt (Mitzi) and Matthew Bolt (Lacey) of Arkadelphia, Michael Kelly of Hot Springs, Jonathan Kelly (Sarah) of Glen Rose and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services for Irene will be 2 p.m. Thursday March 15, at Rest Haven Memorial Garden in Arkadelphia with Rev. Bob Sanders officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Andrews Methodist Church, or the Shriners Children's Hospital. Sign Peg's online Tribute Wall at www.ruggleswilcox.com.
