Arvil Tucker

Arvil Tucker, 92, of Mt. Vernon, Ark. passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018. He was born May 22, 1925 in Gassville, Ark. to the late Hiram and Rena (Lamb) Tucker. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Phyllis Tucker, brothers, Grady, Rex and Leon and sisters, Inez, Velma, Bertha. Arvil was a member of the Whiteville Baptist Church and a mason for 65 years and a 32nd degree Scottish rite mason. He was also a charter member of Boilermakers Local 69. Arvil enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Arvil is survived by his children, John Tucker, Mark Tucker (Debbie) and Kathryn Davis; grandchildren, Tracy Davis, Tiffany Patrom, Ande Sumler, Tommy Tucker, Terra Patrom, Amanda Tucker, Samantha Tucker, Steven Tucker, and Carla Stephens; 13 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, siblings, Ima McKee, David Tucker (Shirley), and Hiram Tucker; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Tucker. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with visitation one hour prior, interment to follow at Whiteville Cemetery in Gassville, Ark.
