Kenny Dean Jackson of Sheridan, Arkansas formerly of Santa Paula, California, was born September 18, 1948 in Santa Paula, Calif., the son of the late Milburn Jackson and Tommie McClure. He attended First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville. He had served in the US Army having fought two tours in Vietnam. Kenny died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the VA Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 69. He enjoyed farming and ranching, which included raising animals, such as geese, chickens, and horses. He loved to be outdoors, whether feeding his chickens, riding jet skis or camping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Randy Jackson, Denny M. Jackson, and Harold L. Jackson. Survivors: wife, Toni Holder-Jackson of Sheridan; daughters, Kelly (Russ) Winderburg of Camarillo, Calif., Connie Martin of Santa Paula, Calif., Michelle (Richard) Prebble of Santa Paula, Calif.; step-daughter, Tara Gaspar of Broussard, La.; step-son, Jason (Samantha) Ketcher of Cabot; special son, Stevie (Melissa) Jackson of Running Springs, Calif.; special niece, Meghan Holder of St. Augustine, Fla.; brother, Jeffrey Jackson of Heber Springs: sisters, Peggy Hollinger of California, Ramona Deaton of Sheridan, Tammy Jester of Arkadelphia; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville.
