William Lloyd Lewis Sr.

William Lloyd Lewis Sr. age 72, of Prattsville, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018. He was born December 14, 1945 in Lake City, Arkansas to the late Willie Eugene Lewis and Dorothy Irene Berry Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a United States Navy Veteran and he later retired from Entergy. He was a member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was a Mason. He enjoyed hunting, restoring guns, and working on John Deere tractors. He owned and operated a blue berry farm and was voted Grant County Farm Family of the Year in 2011. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, John Wesley Lewis. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Anna Lewis, his daughter, Angela Irene Lewis Gilbert (Robert D.), his sons, LTC William Loyd Lewis II (Wenhong Yang), David Michael Lewis (Nancy Lynn), his sister, Virginia Martha Smith, grandchildren, William "Trey" Loyd Lewis III, Courtney Hope Lewis, Michael Joshua Lewis, Brin Nichole Lewis, Marcus Xavier Lewis, and numerous in laws and family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home.
