Lawrence Franklin Shields

Lawrence Franklin Shields, 96, of Benton passed away Monday, March 19, 2018. He was born April 25, 1921 in Palestine, Arkansas to the late Joe and Cora Shields. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Stella Faye Shields; brother, Marvin Shields; sister-in-law, Marcella Shields; and daughter-in-law, Shirley Shields. Survivors include sons, Frank Shields of Benton and Reggie Shields of Benton; four grandchildren, Clay Shields, Chris Shields, Clint Shields, and Kristi Shields; and six great-grandchildren, Cayley Shields, Cara Peel, Nicole Shields, Noah Shields, Tate Shields, and Kaedan Cantrell. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March, 23 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047). Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
