Jamie Crutchfield York of Prattsville, Arkansas was born March 25, 1918 in Prattsville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late James Walter Crutchfield, Sr. and Susan Elizabeth Williams Crutchfield. She was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville. She was an avid quilter and gardener, and a wonderful cook. In her later years, she enjoyed watching the cows in the pasture and the birds at the feeders, particularly the hummingbirds. She and her husband Jack, owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. Ms. York died at her home on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the age of 100. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack York, brother, James Walter Crutchfield Jr., sisters, Marceline Guiliani, Paula Rae Poe, Jewell Paxton, Kathleen Crutchfield and beloved nephew, Byron Poe. Survivors are her nieces, Judith Lynn (Jerry) Hyndman of San Antonio, Texas, Linda (Steve) Lichina of Gibsonia, Pa., Lisbeth (Allen) Kirsh of Austin, Texas, Emily (Chuck) Richesin of Little Rock, Kay Crutchfield of Little Rock; dear friend and companion, Francis Gilbert of Prattsville, and a host of great and great-great-nieces and nephews as well as her church family and friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville with Bro. Don Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday night at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Pallbearers are Brandon Paxton, Eric Gatlin, Steven Crutchfield, Robert Earl Mooney, Randy Mooney and Ross Richesin.
