Mary "Kathryn" Bearden

Mary "Kathryn" Bearden, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed peacefully on November 11, 2018. She was born on March 15, 1940 to the late Russell Moore and Allie Harrison Moore. She was a charter member of Hot Springs Baptist Church where she served in various ministries and worked in the Children's Ministry at Second Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed living on the lake, watching Wheel of Fortune, and knowing and loving each of her grandchildren. Kathryn is preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Clifford Bearden; one son, Michael Bearden; two sisters, Charlotte Johnson and Jolene LeRoy; and brother, Richard Moore. Kathryn is survived by her daughters, Margo (Doug) Turner and Tina (Dean) Worley, all of Little Rock; eight grandchildren - Alex (Sarah) Bearden of Tyler, Texas; Ben (Rachel) Bearden of Jackson, Tenn.; Thomas (Ariel) Bearden of Cordova, Tenn.; Allie Worley of Tampa, Fla.; Nicholas Worley of Los Angeles, Calif.; Joshua Worley of Little Rock; and Caleb and Grace Turner of Little Rock; her precious great granddaughter, Juniper Kate Bearden; as well as extended family, and anyone fortunate enough to love and be loved by her. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Davis-Smith Funeral Home with Doug Turner officiating. Pallbearers will be her eight grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mike Jared, Mike Sanders, Lonnie Wallace, Mike Hilliard, Don Smith, Larry LeRoy, Doug Johnson, and David Burns.
