William Judson Noell, 94, recently of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away from complications of Alzheimer's Disease at home with his family on September 13, 2018. Bill was born March 2, 1924 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Henry Judson Noell and Katherine Watts Noell. He was raised in Big Island, Virginia and graduated from high school in 1941. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1943 and served as a signalman aboard various ships in the Pacific. He was honorably discharged in 1945. He graduated Richmond College (presently University of Richmond) in 1949 with a B.S. in Business Administration. He married June Joyce Scott in 1952 and had three sons, Billy, Steve and Andy. He was employed in various locations with Southern States Cooperatives until 1963 when he joined Southern Farmers association in North Little Rock. He became CEO and President and retired in 1985. He spent the next 30 years volunteering for numerous organizations such as the American Red Cross, Meals on Wheels and to the Park Hill Presbyterian Church where he remained a member until his death. Bill is survived by his sons Billy (Rose) of Sylva, N.C., Steve (Maria) of Keller, Texas; eight grandchildren, John (Aekta), Sean (Jamie) and Eddie Noell, Amanda Martin Reinhart, Amanda and Angela Craig, Charlie (Stephanie) and Brandy Dodd; three great-grandchildren, Baily Dodd, Will Noell and Liam Klooster. Bill was preceded in his death by his wife, June and his son, Andy. Bill was cremated in a private ceremony on September 17th. A memorial service is scheduled on Friday morning, 10 a.m., October 5, 2018 at Park Hill Presbyterian Church in NLR followed by interment at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in NLR. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Park Hill Presbyterian Church, 3520 JFK Blvd, NLR, Ark. 72116.
