John Thomas Poe, Jr.

John Thomas Poe Jr., 70, of Cabot, passed away September 18, 2018 at his home. He was born December 5, 1947 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late John Thomas and Dollie Ann Lentz Poe Sr. John served his country in the United States Army for six years and was a Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed dirt track racing, but his life revolved around his grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his sister, Verla Carol Feagan. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Virginia McGee Poe; daughter, Stephanie Poe of Cabot; sons, Adam (Kristy) Poe of Beebe, Wayne (Misty) Poe of Ward, Travis (Cassidy) Poe of Cabot and Darrel (Lacey) Feagan of East End; eleven grandchildren, Madelyn Hawley, Molly Poe, Cameron Poe, Ethan Poe, Mileena Poe, Kemandrell Hamilton, Kemarri Hamilton, Schentyl Halstead, Sheldon Halstead, Kale Poe and Blake Feagan. Funeral services will be 12 noon, Friday, September 21, 2018 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Brother Bob Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
