MADGE JUANITA GUYNN, of Little Rock passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018. Madge was born on Nov. 16th to the late Claud and Vera (Styles) Whatley in Little Rock. Madge was a member of the East End Baptist Church. She was also a proud member of the National Association of Women in Construction, she loved being a supporter of local politics by working various duties locally, as well as gardening in her yard and she was an excellent cook and she loved to travel. Madge is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years Harvey Guynn; one son: Perry Michael Guynn; four brothers: Charles, George, Floyd, Ben Whatley; two sisters: Donnie Baldwin and Winnie Lou Peeples. She is survived by her four children: Karen Guynn of Little Rock, Harvey Guynn Jr. and wife Teresa of Little Rock, Teresa Larimore-Hines and husband Frank of Jonesboro and Christopher Guynn-Ruff and husband Robert of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; two grandchildren: Skye Bachmeier and husband Cody of El Paso, Texas, and Kacee Anna Larimore of Jonesboro; one sister: Delores Barker of Benton; and a host of friends and family members who will miss her greatly. Visitation with reception will be Monday from 10-11 a.m. at Smith-Benton Funeral Home Chapel at 322 N. Market St., with funeral services at 11 a.m. followed by Graveside at Salem Cemetery in Little Rock. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home.
