Rosalie Arnold Patterson

Rosalie Arnold Patterson, age 88, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed from this life Thursday, September 20, 2018, at the Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, Florida. Born in Monette, she was the daughter of the late John Edward and Rosa L. McDonal Arnold and was raised in the Macey Community. A graduate of Monette High School, she had lived in numerous cities throughout the southeast, including, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Panama City. She and her husband also spent several years in Little Rock where they were members of Trinity United Methodist Church. Rosalie had lived in Jacksonville, Florida since 2017. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson Patterson, Jr. in 2008. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Diane Patterson of Jacksonville, Fla. 2 grandchildren; Steven Michael Patterson of Sarasota, Fla. Kimberly Patterson Younkin of Jacksonville, Fla. She also leaves 2 great-grandsons, Michael Ross Younkin and Reed Alan Younkin 1 sister, Barbara Huffstickler of Des Arc, Ark. Graveside Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at the Leachville Cemetery.
