Helen Frances Whitaker

Helen Frances Whitaker, age 90, a resident of Dutch Mills, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at The Maples of HarBer Meadows in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born May 12, 1928 in Lincoln, Arkansas, the daughter of Leonard and Florence (Richmond) Smith. Helen was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church since 1961 and a long time resident of Dutch Mills, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Carl Whitaker, her parents and one sister, Peggy Rhea. Survivors include three daughters Carolyn Umberson and her husband Donald of Morrow, Arkansas, Linda Walker and her husband Lonnie of Springdale, Arkansas, and Diane Flynt and her husband Curtis of Clever, Missouri; one brother Eugene Smith and wife Marcia of Greenbay, Wisconsin; one brother-in-law Don Rhea of Pinion Hills, California; seven grandchildren Bobby Umberson, Traci Nelson, Shannan Cox, Tina Longshore, Stephanie White, Jason Umberson, and Ashley Moore; eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 16, 2019, 10-11 a.m. at the Liberty Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Dutch Mills Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mikel Cox, Logan Umberson, Cole Umberson, Rylee White, Braden Umberson, Austin White, Jaret Nelson, and Gavin Moore. Honoary Pallbearer Carson Umberson.
