Charles David West

Charles David West, 63, of Mayflower, Ark., went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 18, 2019. He was born February 11, 1956 in Little Rock, Ark. to the late Norman and Mary (Rosenbaum) West. Charles was also preceded in death by his son, Randall West; four brothers and two sisters. Charles devoted his life to his family. Although it was hard work Charles enjoyed working with wood as a carpenter for 47 years. In his off time he enjoyed growing a garden each year and going to the dirt track races but most of all, he enjoyed helping other people. Charles had a huge heart for anyone in need. He will be missed by many friends and family members. Left to cherish his memory is his loving family; his wife of 43 years, Rhonda (May) West of Mayflower; son, John West (Margie) of Mayflower; granddaughters, Alexis and Hanna West; sister, Wanda George (Jack) of Vilonia, brothers, Robert West (Janet) of Bryant; Roy West (Jo) or Little Rock; Larry West (Pam) of Houston; Jerry West (Connie) of Mayflower; Joe West of Mayflower; Ronnie West of Little Rock; and Gary West of Little Rock; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2019 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date at Mayflower Cemetery.
