Elton Taylor Sr.

Minister Elton "ET" Taylor Sr., 70, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, by way of Westwego, Louisiana, transitioned from this life on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lionel Taylor, Sr. and Thelma (Bazile) Taylor Phillips. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Rhodes Taylor; godson Ricky Hill, Sr.; sons, DeVol Tolbert and Elton Taylor, Jr.; daughters, Daphne Taylor Ferguson and Brandy Taylor Dede (Harold); stepfather, Arthur Phillips; siblings, Gail Knox, Lionel Taylor, Sr., Gilda Holmes, and Bobby Taylor; along with a host of family and friends. Visitation: Friday, October 18th from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., with private ceremony for Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity members at 6:30 p.m. inside Colonial Southern Services Grand Oak Chapel, 220 Jacuzzi Lane, Lonoke, Ark. 72086. Funeral: Saturday, October 19th at Greater St. Paul MBC, 497 Crescent Avenue, Hot Springs, Ark. 71901, with 10 a.m. viewing followed by Celebration of Life at 11 a.m.
