James B. "Jim" McGhee

James B 'Jim' McGhee , age 91, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021. He was born on March 4, 1929, in Decatur, Ark., to James P. McGhee and Eunice Browning McGhee. Jim is preceded in death by his parents; son, James Brent McGhee; a daughter, Barbara Ann McGhee; brother, George Harold McGhee. Jim is survived by his wife of 70 years, Shirley Hoke McGhee; daughters, Sheryl Ward, of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Traci Wills and husband, Bill, of Springdale, Ark.; five grandchildren, Scott Ward and wife, Hannah, of Coweta, Okla., Stephanie Jouett and fiancee, Joseph Hill, of Broken Arrow, Okla., Toby Wills and wife, Rachel, of Fayetteville, Ark., D.J. Wills and fiancee, Jimi-Paige Thomas of Farmington, Ark., and Kirby Wills of Springdale, Ark.; two great-grandchildren, Piper Layne Jouett and Gunner Wayne Ward, who, along with his family, were the joy of his life. Jim accepted Jesus his Lord and Savior in 1950, soon before marrying his wife, Shirley. Together they journeyed through life and many highways living in Gravette, Ark., Albuquerque, N. M., Grove, Okla., Lowell, Ark., and Springdale, Ark. Family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday evening, February 4th, at Westfield Chapel in Springdale.
