After a scorcher of a summer, it's finally fall in the Natural State. What better way to take advantage of the weather than to take a walk? There are plenty of hiking trails to choose from, to be sure, but these 10 really struck our fancy. With the help of hiking guru Michael Storey (who literally wrote the book on such things), we've given you our 10 must-try trail picks. Also, pay special attention to the Arkansas Tourism Department's recommended viewing times for fall foliage: late October for the Ozarks, late October or early November for central and western Arkansas, and early to mid-November for the southern and eastern sections. To get a copy of Happy Trails (which everyone in Arkansas should!), visit our bookstore at https://secure.arkansasonline.com/shop/index.php/books_en/books/happy-trails.html.
