#8 Let's go further west into the heart of the Ouachita National Forest. Campers can find several sites for hiking, primitive and non-primitive camping, swimming and sight-seeing. Some favorite locations include Charlton Recreation Area, Winona Refuge, the Blakely Mountain Trail and Haw Creek Falls. Not to mention, there are many sites immediately surrounding Lake Ouachita. Pictured above is the star attraction of a remote campground, Haw Creek Falls, located in the Perry Township. Camping rates run about $10 per day on average.
