About this place
Real old-time country and bluegrass tunes come over the sound system (it won't surprise you to know that there's a section of the country store dedicated to selling country CDs, including a new one from Alabama - found only at Cracker Barrel - that debuted Nov. 13).
The food at Cracker Barrel is along the lines of Dixie Cafe or Black-Eyed Pea, both of which came along later. The "shortened version" of the menu in place while the place opens includes "some of our favorite recipes," including several Country Dinner Plates ($6.99) with two side items, a series of "Fancy Fixin's" plates ($7.99 to $12.99) with three side items.
