About this place

Very friendly order-takers staffing multiple registers helped move the line forward fairly quickly on our first couple of visits, and we lucked out and hit the place off-peak for a late breakfast on our third. The restaurant layout isn't really conducive to accommodating long lines; waiting customers back up into the front dining area and entryway. And once you've ordered, when the pager device goes off alerting you that the kitchen has prepared your sandwich or whatever, you'll have to plow through a crowd to get to the rear distribution area. You might also trip over your fellow diners while getting in and out of the dining areas, where seating is in comfortable, brightly colored chairs at tables with Formica-like tops plus some cozy booths, or while headed for the central island that has the coffee urns, napkins, silverware and assorted other condiments and paraphernalia. There's also a fair amount of seating under shady umbrellas on the front patio.
