Description

St. Mark Baptist Church was founded in 1892. Our church began in a nameless storehouse located on 31st and Izard Street, with four members. They were Rev. Tatum, Brother Ward, Sister Martha Leeks and Sister Pullum. The services consisted of congregational singing, scripture reading, preaching and offering.
