The newest U.S. Pizza Co. doesn't serve pizza - well, at least not yet. The original concept for the Salad Express location was to be a quickie lunch outlet for downtown diners, serving salads, sandwiches and breadsticks only. But the pizza-craving populace has been making its wants known, and management is considering adding the chain's signature thin-crust pies in the near future, possibly next week. Of course, it takes a minimum of 20 minutes to bake a pizza, which would mean longer waits for food and for tables. And both can be fairly lengthy as it is.
