When radio personality Michael Feldman recently performed his Whad'Ya Know show live in Little Rock, he couldn't wait to get his hands on some of the fragrant barbecue that suffused the Robinson Center Music Hall air. So he didn't. He interrupted his talk with interviewee and Whole Hog proprietor Mike "Sarge" Davis to get up and sample it. The live and home-listening audiences apparently couldn't either. The daunting post-show lunch line at the Little Rock location stretched out the door, intimidating us into settling for Mexican. But our unresolved hankering for barbecue was just the excuse we needed to check out Whole Hog's new North Little Rock digs the next week. Well, newish. Despite being pleased to finally have in our 'hood an outlet of the eatery that now boasts franchises in Louisiana, New Mexico and Tennessee, we've not been to the Warden Road location since it opened in July.
