It will shock you should No. 12 Arkansas’ Saturday showdown with No. 5 Louisiana State not set a new attendance record at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. If 55,705 attended the second game of the season against Louisiana-Monroe, how many more will cram into War Memorial’s 62-year-old confines to watch one of the program’s most mean-ingful games of the last two decades? Surely more than the 207 needed to break the record. This is a fire hazard waiting to happen.
