S Dad held after girl fires shot from gun

A 9-year-old girl picked up a loaded.22-caliber pistol and accidentally fired a shot through her parents’ bedroom window north of Jacksonville on Wednesday after her father held the gun to her mother’s neck then tossed the loaded firearm in the yard and told his daughter to pick it up, according to an arrest report.
