Angels fan gets boost from blast Columnist Mitch Albom of the Detroit Free Press won awards and acclaim for his book Tuesdays with Morrie. Bill Dwyre of the Los Angeles Times wrote in a column Wednesday about a similar situation he called “Angels with John.” “It was a week ago that the Angels badly needed a boost. So did John Rountree.
