"Rep. Debra Hobbs, R-Rogers,....said the minute would give students “a timeout” and a break from distractions like “cell phones and texting.”
Really? Students are allowed to operate cell phones and texting during class? I thought most if not all of Arkansas schools banned them long ago. I've been told that even the teachers in Sheridan AR schools aren't allowed to have cell phones at school. It's no wonder many of our students aren't educated when they 'graduate' from high school.
