i don`t live in lr so i have entergy,my last bill it was around 11.5.i can`t compare my truck to your car because i use it pulling alot.and i`m not sure which car you drive to compare it to a like wise gas burner but here are my stats.my truck cost 50k and trade every 4 years with 10k trade avg.which cost me around 10k a year for 40k miles.oil changes and fuel figure out about another 10k.i always have ex warranty so i`m not out much more than that, but i figure all in all 50 to 55 cents a mile.hows that figure compared to yours?fuel cost me today $3.09 at 15mpg. just curious how it compared

And to you I would like to say. Not all conservatives are bought and sold by Glenn Beck. I am saying this because I get embarrassed everytime his name comes up in "mixed" company... He makes me ashamed to call myself a conservative. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

Levi question.. some weeks ago the Demgaz,in the Perspective Sec, a column about forgotten books, or unread books, or something of that nature.. A book about the Lyndon Johnson administration indicated that Americans were clamoring to get into a war with Viet Nam ...
I was a Jr. in HS about that time and barely cognizant of such things.. But i just don't remember it that way... Your thoughts ?? Morgancub

Sorry I haven't answered anyones messages here. I didn't even know this existed until now:^O
@lazybar- I'm still trying to get them to make a diesel-electric plug-in hybrid 4WD truck for people like you that drag stuff. You could plug it in and do around town running on electricity for 30/40 miles per charge. When you need to go further it's got a diesel genny that supplies power to the motor(s)- like a VOLT. My fuel cost is .03/mile. Not much maintenance at all. Tires, wiper blades and juice, etc. Brakes last about 4x as long as usual because of the regenerative braking. No belts, O2 sensors- heck, no engine or transmission. Check out www PlugInAmerica org for more EV info than you can shake a stick at.
@Morgancub- I don't remember Americans clamoring for a war in Vietnam, or reading about it. Quite the contrary, IIRC. But I was born in '61 so maybe I missed it. But I have read about, and heard tapes involving Nixon's people throwing a wrench in Johnson's peace talks in order to extend the war until the election. Some might consider that treason.
