Actually, Exxon Mobile recently purchased XTO which is the third largest gas producing company in the Fayeetteville Shale and then they bought Petrohawk's Fayetteville Shale assets. Exxon mobile is a good corporate citizen, works hard at protecting the environment and in following laws regulating the oil and gas industry in our state. Exxon mobile is focusing a lot of it corporate energy in producing domestic energy so that we do not have to rely on energy from nations who are a source of terrorism. It was Chesapeake who sold a part of their Eagleford Shale play in Texas to the Chinese. The Chinese hold a lot of our dollars because we have purchased so much of what they make.

Thanks again for the kind note and for the sympathy and prayers. I hope that I find the strength and wisdom to handle all of this.
I will let you know when I return and what has happened in the interim between now and then.
Kindest regards -- Jake

Am back in Arkansas and want to once again thank you for your thoughts and concerns regarding my parents. My Mother is out of the hospital and the doctors say that the first diagnosis of C-Diff was wrong. After being treated for possible infection and dehydration and weight loss, she was released to a nursing home last week. She will remain there until her final moments. Her Alzheimers is so bad that she has trouble recognizing her own children (she can remember the names somewhat but doesn't know who anyone is).
My Dad is still quite weak and has problems with self-medication that disturb his sleep and cause other physical handicaps. On the positive side, a visit with the lawyer and financial advisor gave us a much needed positive outlook regarding his finances and meeting the costs of Mother's care.
The only uh-oh moment was when I got a speeding ticket in Diboll, Texas. The only break I got when I called was a 30-day extension to make the $183 payment. I immediately sent in my tax returns and hope that those refunds get here in time.
Again, thanks so very much.
Jake
