Downtown Little Rock's Arkansas Repertory Theatre suspends operations April 24, 2018 at 7:54 p.m.

The Rep is a real treasure, one that must be saved. I have volunteered for more years than I can remember, and hope I can continue to do so. This is vital to the artistic life of Little Rock.

Facing mounting repair costs, Little Rock church votes to sell historic sanctuary December 18, 2017 at 5:44 p.m.

As a leader in this church, I must point out some misleading statements here. Water does not run down the walls. That problem was taken care of years ago, with the addition of a new roof. And the bell tower is not falling in- we have raised funds and obtained a historic preservation grant to repair that. And, we followed the Book of Discipline strictly in the vote- ballots were passed out and counted by tellers who were members of the congregation, not the Pastor. It is a truly sad occasion, deciding to leave such a beautiful old facility.

Clerk: Can't sign same-sex licenses July 21, 2015 at 9:48 p.m.

You took an oath to uphold the constitution. It is against the law to deny equal access to marriage. You are, therefore, breaking the law and unable to perform your job. Quit now or be fired. I'm sure the homophobes at your church will support you. These Christian dominionists need to have their own little hateful country.

Dispute over the First Amendment in Oregon July 19, 2015 at 5:21 p.m.

One important fact left out of this piece and the accompanying discussion: The bakery people were NOT fined for not baking the cake. They were ordered to pay damages after they published the personal information of the plaintiffs on facebook and encouraging people to harrass them. And such are the lies of the homophobes.
