Candidate asked to apologize for Beret claim

He's just making it worse trying to weasel out...I met guys like him in the Vietnam-era Army - contemptible and not worthy of consideration for political office - he'd just be another weasel...

Social media target NLR goose hunt

My wife wrecked her bike when a goose ran under her because they are not afraid of people on the bike trail. There were no injuries, but being clipped in, she could have had a much worse experience than she had. We have watched people bringing bags of feed to feed the geese which is another part of the problem. Out west, you feed a bear, they have to kill the bear. These are not pets.

Judge: Senator sped, fled, lucky none dead

A real man instead of a puffer would just admit he made a big mistake and take his punishment. To continue this ludicrous and egoic behavior with an appeal makes a mockery of everyone, especially the court. "Do the right thing" apparently is not part of his everyday ethic and I sure would not want him representing me in any way.

Town to buzz anew over Beatles

If it was a twin engine plane circling the airport, and they were traveling in a DC-8, a four engine jet, somebody needs to get their facts straight. Poetic license, maybe?
