The three-story building at 123 W. Third St. is located across the street from the high school’s current location in the old Arkansas Gazette building. Constructed in 1924, the building is on the National Register of Historic Places and served as the headquarters of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Little Rock branch until 1966. Because the building is on the National Register, specific areas received special restoration attention to preserve original historic materials from the 1924 construction.
