The city has slated the home at 107 S. Valentine for demolition, per the last city meeting. It belonged to Jim Sjodin, who was murdered there. The case is unsolved, and since Sjodin had no relatives, the house has remained an eyesore and a reminder in what is otherwise a nice, quiet neighborhood.
