Using the Voki Classroom website

Children in Lindsey Griesse's first-grade class at Asbell Elementary practiced writing with the help of cartoon-like characters called avatars on the Voki Classroom website. They typed short sentences they had written about severe weather precautions into the Voki Classroom website for their avatars to read, allowing them to hear what they had written on paper. Madeline Dinger, 7, chose a purple-haired avatar to read her sentences about how to stay safe during a hurricane.
