The original Brashears Furniture building in Berryville Arkansas burned to the ground Friday Dec. 28, 2012. After 75 years it had become a landmark in Berryville, located just a block off the square. Brashears had relocated the furniture store several years ago, and the building was being rented by the Good Shepherd Humane Society as a thrift store to benefit the animals. It was a significant source of income for the animal shelter.
