House votes down private option funding bill
The state House of Representatives has voted down a bill to fund private option Medicaid expansion.

Gov. Mike Beebe spoke Tuesday about a new program to bring together the state's "fragmented" workforce-training efforts. The new program was developed as part of a negotiation with Sen. Jane English, R-North Little Rock, in exchange for her supporting a funding bill for the private-option Medicaid expansion program.
