Space debris from the tail of the Swift-Tuttle comet strikes the atmosphere in these photographs taken five miles west of Benton between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2016. The Perseid Meteor Shower continues with best viewing in the early morning after the moon has set and before dawn.
