The Anthony School golf ball drop put the “fun” back in fundraising. After the school raffle off 967 golf balls, a fire truck crew lifted the balls almost 100 feet in the air and dropped them on the soccer field of the school. The ball landing closest to the tee won an Apple Ipad. Chloe Magda, a fourth grader, was the winner. But the true winner was the school, which got the proceeds from selling the golf balls to students.
