2011 State Owned Cars

Articles published by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette last year looked at the number of state vehicles. An Oct. 18, 2010, Finance Department report shows Arkansas had 8,769 state vehicles. A new count shows that as of Oct. 28, Arkansas had 8,424 vehicles — 345 fewer state than it did a little over a year ago, a drop of 3.9 percent in the year since Gov. Mike Beebe signed an executive order restricting state vehicle use.
