Anil Chakka, Fr, Little Rock Central

Little Rock Central freshman Anil Chakka showed his resilience on his way to winning the boys Overall tennis title. Chakka lost the first set in both the semifinals and finals matches before staging rallies in both contests. Chakka, who also won the Class 7A state title, defeated Luke Anderson of Mulberry, 6-7, 6-1, 6-4 in the semifinals and Matt Talbert, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 in the championship match. The Tennis Recruiting Network ranks Chakka as a five-star recruit.
