Emily Metcalf, Sr., Valley View

Valley View senior Emily Metcalf won the girls Overall tennis championship for the second year in row defeating Tatum Rice of Hot Springs Lakeside for the second consecutive year. Metcalf had to rally to repeat as champion, winning 1-6, 6-2, 6-4. Metcalf also defeated Rice for the Class 5A state title. Metcalf is committed to play college tennis at Michigan State.
