The Little Rock woman blamed by Pulaski County officials in the theft of $14,700 from county offices says she was an honest, hard-working employee made into a “scapegoat” by an administration that has “thrown [her] under the bus.” Serita LaRonce Holmes, 56, made the accusations in a response to a lawsuit by the county that seeks to make her repay the money. Holmes’ filing, a six-page answer to the lawsuit and a four-page statement, was filed on Tuesday. No hearings have been set.
