North Little Rock Woman’s Club

The North Little Rock Woman’s Club held a small recruitment social at its charming Burns Park headquarters Monday. President Diana Glaze talked about the club’s volunteer work, from donating purses stuffed with beauty and hygiene products for the Union Rescue Mission’s Dorcas House to participating in the American Mural Project and the 9-11 memorial garden at the Hays Senior Citizen Center to contributing to UNICEF, Heifer International and Operation Smile. To sweeten the pitch, several members brought finger sandwiches, punch and treats. The tea and social lasted a couple of hours.
