Fire at Kanis Road apartments

A fire occurred on Thursday morning, Jan. 23, 2014, at the Out-In-The Woods Apartments near Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. At least one building was was heavily damaged at the complex, 9201 Kanis Road, and a second building suffered some damage, Little Rock Fire Department spokesman Capt. Randy Hickmon said. It was not immediately clear what started the blaze.
