    Maintenance Director Jerry Massey told the board the district’s current buildings, the newest of which was constructed in 1969, are in desperate need of replacement and updating. “We’ve been patching and putting Band Aids on things,” he said. “That’s how we got in this situation.”
    ***If you don't believe anything else about NLR Schools, believe this. Mr. Massey is one of the most ethical men serving the public schools and has always put the district's best interest as a top priority. It's unfortunate the district had to hire a consultant to get them to believe what Mr. Massey has been saying for the almost 30 years I've known him.
